Playcentre projects from 2025 to inspire your garden play build in 2026

Dreaming of Spring: Bespoke Garden Adventures for 2026

The festivities are winding down, the decorations look a little tired, and thoughts are naturally turning towards the fresh start of a new year. While we are currently deep in midwinter, here in our Devon workshop, our minds are already firmly fixed on the spring of 2026.

2025 was an exhilarating year for us, filled with unique challenges and varied landscapes. We don’t want to dwell too much on the past, but looking back at a few recent favourite projects serves as perfect inspiration for what we could achieve in your garden next year.

Every Garden Tells a Story

The beauty of bespoke work is that no two weeks are the same. One memorable sun-drenched week found us in Maldon, Essex, constructing a massive Forest Mega Combo. It was hot work installing that epic spiral tube slide, but seeing the immediate joy it brought—a playcentre that grandparents and grandchildren will share for years—made the heatwave worthwhile.

We also love a structural challenge. In Wimbledon, we faced a garden divided by a high terrace wall. The solution? A hexagonal playhouse that cleverly utilized the drop, connecting the two levels with a slide, steps, and a climbing wall. It turned an awkward boundary into the main event, read more here.

Sometimes, it’s about total transformation. In New Malden, we took an overgrown, scrubby corner of a large garden and revitalized it completely. We cleared the chaos and installed a beautiful Otter Mega Playcentre, set within its own crisp, clean woodchip safety landing zone.

We even had the pleasure of reconnecting with a past customer who was moving house. We dismantled their original Forest playcentre, gave it a fresh lick of paint in the workshop, and reinstalled it at their new property looking as good as new. It’s a testament to the longevity of handmade quality; you can read more here.

Looking Ahead to Your 2026 Project

As we head into January, the calendar fills up incredibly fast. The “spring rush” is a very real phenomenon in the world of garden play!

If you are dreaming of the kids running outside on the first warm days of the year, now is the time to act. Projects booked now are already scheduled for delivery and installation from early March onwards.

We Handle Everything

We know starting a construction project can feel daunting, which is why we handle the entire process. From an initial consultation or site visit to detailed drawings, right through to the final build.

Every piece is handmade to order by our team here in Devon, and we install it ourselves to ensure it’s perfect. You don’t have to lift a finger until it’s time to push the first swing.

Beat the rush and ensure your garden is ready for the 2026 season.
