What we collect
When you send us a consultation request through this website, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email address, phone number, postcode or region, and the notes you write about your project.
The website does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not buy, sell, or trade personal information.
Why we use it
We use your details for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, if you choose to proceed, to prepare and deliver your commission. In legal terms, this processing is necessary for the steps you have asked us to take before entering into a contract, and for our legitimate interest in responding to the people who contact us.
Who handles it on our behalf
Your enquiry is delivered to us by trusted service providers who process it on our instructions: our website host (Vercel) and our email delivery provider. Where we use a customer relationship system to manage enquiries, your details are held there under the same obligations. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as the conversation is live, and for up to two years afterwards so we can pick the thread back up if you return to the project. Commission records are kept for the period required by tax and warranty obligations.
Your rights
You may ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us at the address above and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this notice
If the way we handle personal information changes, we will update this page. This notice was last updated in July 2026.
